Outreach event to connect construction subcontractors with Continental Tire for new plant

COLUMBIA, SC - June 21, 2012 - Walbridge and Mashburn Construction, along with the S.C. Department of Commerce, Sumter Economic Development and Central Carolina Technical College, are hosting a subcontractor outreach event for the construction of the new Continental Tire plant in Sumter County.
The event will be at the Central Carolina
Technical College’s Health Sciences Center in downtown Sumter on
Wednesday, June 27 at 4 p.m.
- Gain information about the Continental Tire plant construction project in Sumter, including the projected schedule.
- Learn about current and upcoming bid packages.
- Receive instructions on contractor pre-qualification forms.
- Hear an overview of Walbridge and Mashburn’s MBE/DBE efforts.
- Meet the construction management team and network with other interested contractors.
