AnMed Health Physician Network welcomes new doctors

ANDERSON, SC - August 23, 2012 - The AnMed Health Physician Network is pleased to welcome Dr. Katherine Beben and Dr. Syed Malik.
Dr. Beben recently joined Dr. Chasse Bailey-Dorton, Dr. Amy Cianciolo and Tara H. Gunnells, FNP, at AnMed Health Anderson Family Medicine. Dr. Beben is a board-certified family physician and fluent Spanish speaker. She is returning to Anderson after several years practicing in family medicine in El Dorado Springs, Mo. Dr. Beben is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the AnMed Health Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Syed Malik, a pulmonologist with 20 years experience recently joined the specialists at AnMed Health Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Malik is board certified in pulmonary disease, sleep medicine, internal medicine and critical care medicine. He is a graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his residency training at Wayne State University. Dr. Malik completed fellowships in critical care, sleep medicine and pulmonary medicine at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. He comes to Anderson from the Blue Ridge Pulmonary and Sleep Center in Morganton, N.C.
