GREENVILLE, SC – October 5, 2012 - Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is pleased to announce that Charles G. Whitmire, Jr. has joined the firm as Vice President in its Greenville office. Charlie will be focusing on serving corporate clients as well as tenant representation of office and industrial clients.
Mr. Whitmire has been active in real estate and economic development since 1976 in all aspects of office and industrial real estate. He has focused on acquisition, development, marketing, sales and lease negotiations and management of twelve office and industrial parks, and over 4,500,000 square feet of speculative and build-to-suit projects in the Carolinas and Florida.
Most recently a principal at The Whitmire Co., LLC, and formerly a top producer at Grubb & Ellis/The Furman Co., he is a recognized expert in all aspects of marketing, development and operation of office and industrial properties, including prospect recruitment and negotiation of incentives. He has successfully completed development or tenant representation for companies such as GE Aviation, Grammer Industries, Verizon Wireless, WABCO, Rexroth, Owens Corning, Perrigo, Caterpillar, BIC, Bausch & Lomb and Greenville County to name a few.
